Myles N. Sheehan, S.J.

Father Pavel Gabor, S.J., of the Bohemia Jesuit Province, successfully defended his Ph.D. thesis in Paris. After doing tertianship in Australia he will join the Vatican Observatory staff by the end of September 2010.

Brother Jonathan Stott, S.J., of the New England Jesuit Province has been assigned to the staff of the Vatican Observatory for two years. He has a Ph.D. in Physics and some six years of research experience. During his time in Tucson Jonathan is becoming familiar with astronomical research.
